A little-known feature Facebook developers built into their application is the ability to listen to what you say while you spend time on their site. Using your computer’s built in microphone, all sounds are recorded for each session and then fed through an elaborate algorithm to sift out issues that can be addressed in future upgrades. All recordings are anonymous.
Recently, friend of mine at Facebook sent me the 10 most-often expressed mutterings. Enjoy, and see if you’re on the list:
